Mission

Our Mission is to:

  • Serve the Persecuted Church wherever  Christians suffer at the hand of Islam.
  • Challenge the Body of Christ to respond to the plight of the Persecuted Church and the global advance of Islam.

We achieve this mission in three main ways:

  1. We provide spiritual support by raising fervent and frequent intercessory prayer for persecuted Christians suffering at the hand of Islam.
  2. We provide financial support and encouragement to national ministries who are caring for persecuted Christians and reaching out to Muslims with the Gospel.
  3. We challenge the Body of Christ by dispersing specific prayer needs and persecution news, and inviting churches and individuals to partner with us in supporting the Persecuted Church where Islam is dominant.

We thank God that there are other organizations who advocate for the Persecuted Church as a whole and seek redress from governments and authorities. May more and more believers take up this burden!

What sets Smyrna apart is our special focus on the “politically incorrect,” and often ignored, Islamic persecution of Christians.

Statement of Faith

In keeping with the historic evangelical position of the Church, we believe in the following:

The inspiration of Scripture, the Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the sinful lost condition of the human race, the virgin birth, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and imminent return of Jesus Christ, salvation by faith, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the reality of heaven and hell, the Personality of Satan, the Universal Church – the body of Christ, the Ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, the Great Commission, the final Judgement, and the mandate to minister to the Persecuted Church.

Founder's Statement

Prayer will always be the first priority, the highest purpose, the moving force, and the energizer of this ministry.
