Pray for Muslims during Ramadan that they be delivered from the bondage of Islam

“Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam. A pillar is something that binds you to Allah…a pillar never breaks. It never goes away. It will stay with you forever” – Marwa Abdelghani

During this month of Ramadan, approximately 1.6 billion people across the globe will fast during daylight hours and feast when the moon rises.  Some will do so devoutly; some will do so dutifully;  and others will do so to keep out of trouble, to avoid imprisonment, beatings, or harassment.

For millions and millions of people in our world today, the burden of Islam is heavy. Their bondage to a false god and a false religious system is stifling. But our God has not called us to ritual fasting to please Him (Isaiah 58:6), but to break the chains of those in captivity – even those who are in bondage to lies and under spiritual oppression.

We invite you to take a closer look at daily practices and beliefs of those living under the bondage of Islam and specifically pray for their deliverance. Click on the image links to the right for examples of this bondage, and how to pray for our Muslim brothers and sisters.
