The rage of Islam is exposed in Uganda where a Muslim man battered his wife upon hearing that she had embraced Christ after God healed her sick daughter.

A lovely young mother, Sophia Nakisaala, 35, placed her trust in Jesus on August 7th after hearing a street evangelist proclaim the Gospel. Sophia was headed to Kamuli General Hospital with her sick daughter, aged 5, when she stopped to listen to the evangelist. Afterward, she met with the Christian and he prayed over her daughter. “My child got healed instantly from high fever, which had caused several convulsions,” Sophia told Morning Star News by phone.

“The evangelist shared with me about Issa [Jesus], whom he said to be the Healer and Savior. I then decided to accept Him as my Lord and Savior and then returned back home.” When Sophia arrived home she shared with her Muslim husband, Muhammad Lubaale, about the healing of their daughter. She also told him of the evangelist’s prayer for her.

Muhammad became incensed then, and struck Sophia. A couple days later, when further word of her conversion reached him, Muhammad began beating his wife with a stick.

By God’s grace, neighbors intervened, rescued Sophia and offered her shelter that night. The next morning, Sophia came back for her four children, ages 3, 5, 8, and 11 and has been provided a place of refuge while she recovers.

“He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 1:8
